Delhi kicked off its event calendar with QuizETZ, a superbly organized fun event that was organized at Indian Society of Training & Development (Training House) on 8-Aug-08.

The event was put together by K&J…full marks to them for a truly enjoyable evening and to our sponsors Step Consulting for their generous support. Thank you to all CEOs who sent teams and to those present and a big cheer for the participants!!!

A total of 68 people attended. There were twenty participating teams: from Stellar, Inputs, Datamatics, The Edge, RPOW, The Recruiters, Nacre, Manpower, ABC Consultants, Tech 2 Suit, Approach International and Times. There were two rounds: a preliminary round to whittle the number of teams down to six and the finals. The rounds were tremendous fun; watching people blow balloons eat bananas, balance them in the air, skip and of course answer rapid fire questions. The highlight was watching the Stellar team on their knees in front of Shantanu , trying to retrieve their balloon which had perched itself on his lap. The winning team was from Stellar – Congratulations Linda and Gaurav, whilst the runners up were from Inputs.

Shailja clicked a lot of pictures of the event and and Anishya co-coordinated and MC ed the entire show. Among many laughs, loud prompts and many a surprise that K &J threw on the way for the participants… we distributed ‘ I love recruiting’ pens to all participants and shared chocolates with the winners of the open – to – audience round.

The time between the rounds was used by attendees to mingle and make new friends. It was heartening to note the warmth and camaraderie among them. That the event was a success was demonstrated by requests that poured in from participants to be put on the mailing lists so they would not miss any future events and by people volunteering to help organize more such events. This was the first in a series of events we are putting together this year. K&J have set very high standards with the excellence they brought into organizing this event. We look forward to the same kind of response for all future events.
