On 16^th October 2008 at the India Habitat Center Delhi, a conference was held for the first time in the country on Temp Staffing by ERA. The theme of the conference was “Temp Staffing – its role in creating Organized Employment”. The conference addressed the problems, challenges & the emerging opportunities of this industry.

The government’s perception in this regard was articulated by Ms. Jayati Chandra, IAS, Principal Advisor, Labour & Employment, Planning Commission apart from Mr. S Y Siddiqui Managing Executive Officer Administration ( HR, Finance & IT), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd,, Ms. Geetanjali Pandit, Corporate Head-HR, India Today Group.

The event was very well attended as the hall was completely full.
